The area that was covered differed from the one initial proposed in order to avoid surveying in dredged areas and also to extend the length of covered coast. Due to the spike in interest resulting from finding archaeological artifacts on Shark Island, it was decided to also cover the coast around the island and to the south. In Khor Fakkan, two actual wrecks have been detected together with three false positives that inspected by the divers.
